Leaf Beet Swiss Chard (organic seeds), sometimes called Seakale Beet. Produces a bushy plant with glossy dark leaves with a thick white rib. Pick young leaves regularly for constant cropping.

Where To Sow: Beet Leaf takes 12 weeks from sowing to harvest. Beet Leaf is sown in April in rows 2.5cm deep and 30 cm apart.

What To Do Next: When the seedlings emerge and are large enough to handle, thin to 20cm apart.

Handy Tip: Keep well watered and weed free. Start harvesting outer leaves leaving central foliage to develop.
