Beetroot Bikores has a very good resistance to bolting. It's an early to maincrop variety. Round to oval shaped, deep red internal colouring.
SOW: March through June
HARVEST: July through October
WHERE TO SOW:
For early crop sow February in seed trays, pinching a few seeds into 2cm drills.
Harden off and plant out with 10cm between seedlings. For maincrops sow March through June in 2cm drills, again 10cm apart, and thin out to 1 plant when seedlings reach 3cm. A good tip is to water well during dry/hot weather to avoid root going 'woody' and losing sweet flavour.
