Brussels Sprout Cascade has dark green solid sprouts on medium height plants. Good for exposed sites and excellent flavour. Sow the seeds in a nursery bed 1cm deep in rows 15cm apart in March & April, thin the seedlings to 10cm apart and transplant to the growing site in May and June 75cm apart all round.

WHERE TO SOW:
Sow seeds thinly 1.5cm deep into pots or trays under glass at 13°C or sow in shallow 1.5cm deep drills in a seed bed outside.
WHAT TO DO NEXT:
As soon as glasshouse seedlings show first pair of leaves, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Gradually harden off before planting in the growing site 60cm apart in May. Thin outdoor seedlings.
HANDY TIP: Firm soil is one important requirement, firm transplants with the heel and protect in a windy area.
