Cabbage Celtic F1 have extremely hard heads with vivid blue-green colouring; the outer leaves are Savoy like. This cabbage will stand very well in any weather that is thrown at it, and for weeks on end without splitting or deteriorating.

WHERE TO SOW:
Early sowings in trays or modules under glass at 13°C. Later sowings direct into a seed bed in shallow drills 1.5cm deep.
WHAT TO DO NEXT:
Prick off glasshouse seedlings when 6-8cm tall into trays 5cm apart. Thin module sowings to single plants. Harden off before planting out in the growing site from early June 45cm apart. Thin outdoor sowings to 4-6cm apart as soon as possible, planting in the growing site when 15cm tall to same spacings.
HANDY TIP: A very hardy variety ideal for both mild and colder areas. Firm in well and keep watered in drought conditions. To avoid the disease, club root, in land used for brassicaem ensure a rotation in your crop programme.
NUTRITIONAL VALUES: Excellent source of vitamin C & B. The darkest leaves contain the most nutrients.
