Cabbage Durham Early - dark green heads of medium size, good texture and flavour. A good variety for cutting early as Spring Greens before full maturity.

WHERE TO SOW:

Sow the seed thinly in well-prepared seed beds in shallow drills 1.5cm deep. Keep well watered.

At about 10-15cm tall, transplant to the growing site 35-40cm apart. Set the young plants 1.5cm deeper than they were in the seedbed.

HANDY TIP:  Dual-purpose variety. To grow spring greens plant out to 15cm apart and take alternative plants in March as spring greens leaving the others to fully mature fully.

NUTRITIONAL VALUES:   Excellent source of vitamins C and B. The darkest leaves contain the most nutrients.
