Packet Details

Carrot Ideal Red is an excellent early Nantes type whcih produces bright orange roots suited to bunching, strong topped, good flavour and uniformity.

SOW: Mid February to April

HARVEST: early June to August

WHERE TO SOW: Sow February and March and protect with a cloche. Dig narrow drills 1cm deep and 12cm apart with rows 30cm apart.

WHAT TO DO NEXT: Shake some seed into your palm and drop a small pinch into a each drill. Seedlings appear about 15 days later.
