Cauliflower Maystar has solid curds of pure white; ideal for floret freezing as well as usual cooking. Sow in April and May for a May and June harvest the next year.

WHERE TO SOW:

Sow the seeds thinly in a well prepared seed bed outside, 2cm deep with 15cm between rows.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:

As soon as possible, thin the seedlings to 10cm apart. When the seedlings have formed 5 or 6 leaves, transplant, taking as much soil as possible, into the growing site 60cm apart and rows 75cm apart.

HANDY TIP:  Cauliflower plants dislike any check in growth, never allow root area to dry out.

NUTRITIONAL VALUES:   A good source of iron, manganese, and folic acid. Contains many healthy antioxidants.
