A Romanesco cauliflower producing a uniform crop of dark green, turreted curds with no bracts. It is a vigorous variety. Sow thinly in 1.5 cm drills with 15cm between rows. As the seedlings grow, thin out to about 10cm between each. Once there are 5 or 6 leaves on the seedling, transplant to final position.

WHERE TO SOW:

First prepare the soil by adding manure or compost during the several months before planting.

Sow seeds outdoors in 1cm deep rows. Then seedlings emerge thin out to 10cm apart, and then when the plants have 6 leaves transplant to 60cm apart in their final positions. Alternatively can be sown under glass in Jan - Feb.
