Medium late maturing variety ready for cutting about 180 days after planting out. Large plant size with heavy dome shape heads weighing over 1kg. Deep green leaves give excellent frost protection. Sow May-June for February-March cropping.

WHERE TO SOW:
Early sowing under glass in trays or modules at 16ºC. Later sowings in a seed bed in shallow drills 1cm deep 20cm between rows.
WHAT TO DO NEXT:
Glasshouse sowings should be pricked off into trays 5cm apart as soon as large enough to handle. Thin modules to one seedling per pot/module. Thin outdoor sowings to 10cm apart. Plant out in June spaced at 45cm apart when plants are about 15cm tall.
HANDY TIP: Ideally can be planted after early peas.
NUTRITIONAL VALUES: A good source of iron and manganese. Contains many healthy antioxidants.
