Celery Celebrity is a 'self-blanching' type, short petioles which hold well. Slightly quicker to mature than Victoria. Very little stringiness for a self-blanching type.

HARVEST  'Self-Blanching' varieties Summer/Autumn and 'Blanching' varieties Autumn/Winter.

WHERE TO SOW:

Sow in March in a warm greenhouse on the surface of moist compost. Cover very lightly with almost no compost - water carefully every few days with a fine mist of water. Germination takes 21 days. Transplant to final growing position in May when plant is about 20cm tall.

General Tip:  Soil should be well manured December through February.
