Chicory Palla Rossa is a very crisp Chicory with a lovely flavour. It has firm hearty heads, with red leaves and white ribs. It has an RHS Award of Garden Merit.

SOW:   May-June, thinning to around 20cm between seedlings.

HARVEST:   October to December

WHERE TO SOW:  

Sow directly into the soil outside at a depth of 1.5cm and cover with fine soil. Water well if soil is dry. Space the rows 30cm apart. When seedlings are 2cm high, thin them to 20cm apart.
