Climbing French Bean Algarve
Climbing French Bean Algarve is a flat podded Hunter type, but with larger pods, and an earlier harvest time. Suited to early and late sowings. Performs well under varying conditions; excellent vigour and a very productive variety.
Plot Type:Outdoor plot
Where To Sow: Sow in 5cm deep drills, one bean per drill, with about 10cm between drills and about 40cm between rows. Grow in full sun exposed spot with well drained/moist soil. Will grow to 200cm.
What To Do Next: Takes 8 to 12 weeks to mature, harvest June through August.
Handy Tip: Pick regularly to encourage extended cropping.
