Plot Type:Windowsill, Pots.

Where To Sow: Basil is a heat lover and very sensitive to frost. Best grown on the kitchen window sill with direct sunlight. Almost fill seed tray or small pots with moist seed compost and sow seeds thinly on the surface. Lightly cover with compost and keep moist.
What To Do Next: Seedlings and plants will require regular monthly feeding as an underfed basil plant has pale leaves.
Handy Tip: Basil is a natural repellant of flies and mosquitoes.
Nutritional Value: Very rich in vitamins A & K.
Companion Plants: Asparagus, beans, beets, cabbage, chili and bell peppers, oregano, potatoes and tomatoes.

I used old basil seeds last year and they didn't do so well (bought elsewhere) so hopefully these new seeds should do the trick.
