Herb Basil Rubin is a great improvement over the old variety 'Dark Opal'. Basil Rubin has leaves that are allmost pure purple-bronze. Basil Rubin has fine flavour and aroma and grows to a heighty of 40cm.

SOW:  March to June

WHERE TO SOW:

In pots or trays at 22°C Cover lightly with compost. Sow direct  in growing site from mid June

WHAT TO DO NEXT:

As soon as seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into small pots. Transplant to growing site in June or into permanent containers, thin direct sowings to 15cm apart.
