Chives are a perennial that grow to about 25-35cm. Onion flavoured foliage, useful for salads and soups. They are prolific and need to be kept under control!

SOW:   March indoors or April outside in final location.

WHERE TO SOW:  For indoors, sow the seeds thinly in shallow drills in potting compost. Keep well watered, and seedlings will emerge after about 10 days. After  1 month transplant into final location, leaving about 10cm between plants.
