Coriander is a fragrant annual that can grow to up to 2 feet. The seeds are known as Coriander while its leaves are called Cilantro (or Chinese Parsley). Can be grown for both seeds and leaves and both are used in cooking. The leaves are great salads, soups or curry.
Sow & Harvest: Sow outdoors in May (under glass from March).
Growing Instructions: Requires warm soil for germination. Sow in drills around 1cm deep and then cover with soil. Sow seeds about 4cm apart. Germinating in 14 days. Thin out to 20 cm apart when seedlings are 5cm high. Note!! If grown in containers, these need to be 15cm deep. Sow weekly to ensure continuous crop.
