Herb Green Mint is a hardy perennial and is used for mint sauce and teas. Also sought after for medicinal properties. Grows to a height of 60cm, creeping.

SOW: From February to July

HARVEST:  Two months to first harvest. For drying, harvest the leaves before the flowers appear.


WHERE TO SOW:

Inside in a tray in soil-less compost.  Cover with sieved compost and maintain at 20° C.  Prick out into pots when large enough.  Transplant outside into rich, moisture-retaining soil in sun or shade. Is one of the few herbs that prefers shade but will hold its own in full sun.

TIP: Can be invasive, so best to sow in a container.
