Lettuce Lobjoits Cos is a real old favourite. Deep green outer leaves, colour is retained in the heart. Very crisp and well flavoured. Ideal for spring and autumn sowings.

WHERE TO SOW:

Sow thinly in drills 1cm deep with 30cm between rows.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:

Thin seedlings as they grow, to an eventual spacing of 35cm . Thinnings can be eaten or transplanted. Sow little and often.

HANDY TIP:  can be started earlier in modules under glass at 13°C and transplanted in mid-April.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE:  A good source of antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein and vitamin C as well as vitamin K.
