Early sowings under glass at 13C either in trays or modules. Later sowings direct in growing site in drills 2cm deep, 30cm between rows.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Early sowings should be thinned as they grow to 5cm apart, modules thinned to single seedlings to a cell and hardened off quickly before planting out 30cm apart each way. Thin outdoor sowings to 30cm apart.
MATURITY
Ready for cutting 8-10 weeks after sowing.

The attractive plants with light green centres and red outer leaves can look just as good used in a flower garden. |
