Red-tinged leaves as the plant matures. Good disease resistance. Excellent flavour. Something a bit different for a stir fry or baby leaf salad.

Where To Sow: Early sowings under cover. Late sowings sow thinly direct in growing site in rows 15cm apart.
What To Do Next: As soons as seedlings are large enough to handle, thin out to 30cm apart.
Handy Tip: Keep plants well watered throughout the growing period to avoid bolting (running to seed) and lack of flavour.
Nutritional Value: A very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6.
Companion Plants: Potatoes, celery, beets, onions. Avoid Strawberries, tomatoes.
