Pea Avola is ideal for fresh picking or freezing. It gives a good crop production with full foliage, and each pod holding 7 - 8 peas. The dwarf plants (about 60cm) work really well for containers as well as the kitchen garden. (Early variety)

HARVEST: June - September
WHERE TO SOW: Sow November to March under cloches, providing the soil is not too wet or cold. For main crops sow outdoors from March 5cm deep, approximately 20 seeds per 30cm, in drills 15-20cm wide, with 60-90cm between rows.
