The winner of an RHS award, it produces impressive crops of dark green, blunt ended pods with excellent flavour. This variety is a favourite for home freezing.

SOW: Sow earlies from November to March under cloches, providing ground is not too wet or cold. Sow main crop March through May.

WHERE TO SOW:

Using the back of the rake or a hoe, make a flat drill in the soil 10-15cm wide to a depth of 5cm.  Along both sides of the drill, sow the pea seeds at 5-10cm intervals. If you are going to sow more than one row then allow about 60 cm between the rows.

Support the peas once they start growing.  Keep the peas well watered if the weather is dry.
