Parsnip Gladiator is the market standard variety, extremely consistent with large roots which are hold good canker resistance. Roots have a shallow crown to reduce wastage. Popular amongst competitors.
Sow & Harvest: From late February in shallow drills . Do note that parsnip germinates slowly and that later sowings (till May) may be the most successful. Root size is spacing dependent - for small roots space 10cm apart - for larger roots space up to 20cm apart.
