A mid-early and maincrop variety. Uniform round heads with green outer leaves. Good tolerance to bolting and tipburn. High percentage top grade cut.

SOW:   outdoors May to July

HARVEST:   October to February

WHERE TO SOW:

Sow thinly at a depth of several mm. Cover with a little soil. Water the row before sowing and after, and keep well watered. Rows should be spaced about 40 cm apart. Lettuces will only adopt the distinctive red coloring as they mature. As the lettuce mature thin out the row so that plants are about 25 cm apart. Keep well watered during dry weather.

Tip! Sow every 2 or 3 weeks from May through July to get a continuoys supply of lettuces.
