Rocket

Rocket is sown outdoors from March right through to August. Rocket takes 3-4 week from sow to first harvest, and you can still be harvesting late sown Rocket in December. Aliums (e.g. leeks, onions & garlic) are excellent companions for Rocket as they deter slugs. Rocket is suited to successional sowing every couple of weeks to ensure a steady supply of young leaves to put a zip in your salads.
