Runner Bean Armstrong is another red flowered variety -  a particularly vigorous variety, producing high yields of stringless pods, 40cm x 2.5cm. Early maturing and quick to establish.

SOW & HARVEST:   Sow under glass in late April at a depth of 4cm for planting out in May. Otherwise can sow directly out in May-June as germinates between 12C and 25C. Leave a good 25cm between plants. Crops from early July onwards. Needs support.
