Vigorous growing variety producing large quantities of stringless pods with very good flavour and good length.

Where To Sow: Sow under glass in late April at a depth of 4cm for planting out in May. Otherwise can sow directly out in May-June as germinates between 12C and 25C. Leave a good 25cm between plants.
What To Do Next: Support with a cane at each planting station and keep well watered. Circular plantings can be made with canes joined at the centre to form a wigwam.
Handy Tip: Traditionally served lightly boiled with butter but also makes a pleasant addition to a salad chopped into bite size pieces
Nutritional Value: A good source of Vitamin C, Folic acid and Iron. High fibre content.
Companion Plants: Maize, Summer Savory, Radish. Avoid Onion, Beets, Kohlrabi, Sunflower
