our tumbling toms are constantly cropping in their baskets - the first to ripen, even before the pampered greenhouse tomatoes. We have six baskets of them (all the seeds germinated) and they are providing more than enough to keep us going for salads on a daily basis. Glad I added water retaining gel and food pellets as it has saved a lot of bother

Grew Tumbler for the first time this year and have been very impressed. Have two in a couple of large hanging baskets in the greenhouse and two in pots outside. Hard to keep up with the watering of basket tomatoes, but that apart are healthy. Outdoor pots are producing ripe fruit now, despite weather, where other outdoor toms are lagging behind. Agree that the flavour is not quite up to the likes of gardeners delight but will definitely be growing it next year (probably two packets - plants make good presents.)

We purchased the seeds in June, far too late for toms, but were tempted by the cheap price - 40p for 6 seeds. They all germinated, were planted in pots and kept outside until end September. After which placed in a warm garage with good light. Now - mid October, we are cropping a handful of fruit every day. The skins are a little tough and the fruit not as sweet as a cherry tomato, but that might be due to the short season. Definitely good value and fun to grow.
