AllotmentRegister.org has been developed by the team at VegetableSeeds.net. Launched in January 2010, the site has been created as a free resource, to help find your nearest allotment association, as well as their contact details.

So far the system has over 2000 allotment locations listed, as well as comprehensive contact details for allmost 500 local authorities responsible for many of the allotments. When you visit the site, enter your postcode in the search box and click "Go!" and you will see details of your nearest allotments.

A very nice feature of the site is a Google map which displays the nearest allotment locations to your postcode. It's great fun to play with, and handy at the same time.

As well as details of local authority allotments, there are more than 300 websites run by allotment societies listed on the site. When you enter your postcode on the homepage and click "Go!", the search results will include 4 little images of the nearest of these allotment websites to your postcode.
