» 'Blanching' celery is also known as 'Trench' celery. These celeries are grown in a trench and earthed up, to be harvested in Autumn and Winter. Our variety Green Soup is a Blanching celery.
» With 'Self-Blanching' varieties of celery you do not use a trench or need to earth up. 'Self-Blanching' varieties are harvested late Summer through Autumn. Celery Celebrity & Celery Golden Self Blanching are excellent self Blanching celeries that we sell.
